Sowohl auf der Straße, als auch auf der Schiene, konnten die Schienen-Straßen-Busse der DB bis zu 80 km/h fahren. Dise urigen Fahrzeuge der Bauart BS 300 wurden ab 1953 in einer Stückzahl von 15 Stück für die DB gebaut und waren u.a. im Westerwald im Einsatz, wie hier der 29-3. /
On the road or on track: the so called "train-road-bus" of the DB could drive up to 80 km/h. 15 of these BS 300 were built from the year 1953 for the DB. One of its main application areas was the "Westerwald" - e.g. the area for 29-3.
